K AKQTXXX KX AKX -- your bid over 3C?

1) Would a direct 4♥ show this hand in your methods?
2) If not, what would X and then 4♥/5♥ show?
3) What will you bid if they bid 4/5♣ over the X?

2. A more flexible hand.
3. Double? I would have bid 4H of course.

X would say that I'm not certain where to play this hand (so more flexible). Here I know I want to play this hand in hearts so it's out of question. I'd be horrified when it continued X (5♣) 5♠.

2.) This hand altho you may want to call 6♥

2) I never start with a double when I have only one suit to play in. Doubling and bidding hearts would show a flexibel hand. 3-6-3-1 is one of many possibileties.
If I had an ace-ask, it would be an obvious choice. Alas I don't, so I bid 5♥.
3) If I had somehow brought myself into this, I'd bid 5♥ and prey partner passed. Since he is short in clubs, a 2-3 hearts (or more) is reasonable to expect.
Do not underestimate the power of the dark side. Or the ninth trumph.

Unless someone convince me this 4 NT is something else, i am bidding 4 NT for aces.

I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.

Really? Sometimes in bridge, you cannot show your exact hand when they preempt and you must make do with bidding game because going beyond that is too risky. It's like a bidding problem where they open 3S, and you have a balanced 23 count. Does 3N show your hand? No. Do you bid 3N? Yes.
(note I think 4H is a bad bid with this hand but there is definitely no disconnect in han's 1 and 3 answers).
