2♣ 2n [minors] 4♠ 5♣
5♠ 6♥ (lead directing vs. a slam) 6♠ 7♥ (oh, that's what you meant)
X (no, he didn't mean that)
This even tops my hand at Penticton when playing teams, vulnerable:
1♠ 2♣ (me, on a bad 10 count) X XX (oh nice, partner thinks I can make it)
all pass

Be interested to know the auction on the 7♥XXS since obviously it goes down on the ♠Q and the X might have been asking for that, but hard for W to imagine - without some auction help - that spades is the suit to hit partner's void!

Finding your own mistakes is more productive than looking for partner's. It improves your game and is good for your soul. (Nige1)

Many years ago, playing in a District GNT, one of my teammates led her singleton club against the opponent's 5♥ contract looking for a ruff. She found it - her partner ruffed!
This hand was a big loss for our side. At the other table, we were defending 6♦x, and my partner led the suit we had bid during the auction - hearts. I had AKxx of hearts and AKxxxx of clubs. Dummy had 3 hearts and one club. I won the ♥K and tried to figure out what to do next. I could not tell from partner's lead or the auction whether partner had 4 or 5 hearts. With only one club in dummy, it seemed reasonable to try to cash the ♣A - I had opened the bidding 1♣ but after partner's 1♥ response and heavy competitive bidding by the opps we never bid clubs again. Declarer ruffed and got rid of his remaining heart on dummy's spades.

Love it.
I once made 7♥ by getting a ruff-sluff at trick 1. The interesting part of that deal was that some pairs sitting the other direction made 7♠, also on a ruff-sluff at trick 1.

Every so often there is a hand like this at a North American Championship. The story is usually that, on more than one occasion, one of the partners cue bids his void and the other partner, also with a void, assumes the other has the A and they bid 7NT, down 7.
There are variations on this story, however. In the first regional open pair event that I won my partner and I defended 3♠x vulnerable down 8 for 2300. We could have made all 13 tricks, but it is hard to defend that bad of a contract perfectly. Interestingly, in another section, someone played 4♠x down 9! Some people can't resist interfering into a strong 2♣ auction, even though the suit in this case was 5 small.

About 4nt instead of 2nt: I'm white against red with a 2♣ opener opponent and I'm 1=0=6=6, weak, with no quick tricks/no defense. Seems like I want to steal all the space and 5m is extremely likely to be a good sac over some red game for the opponents, and slam for opponents is not unexpected. And my partners should play a 4nt here as for the minors (I've bid this or had partner bid this in different auctions before). It is super clear over 2♣ that I'm not doing something like blackwood here!
