For security reasons, Flash doesn't allow applications to write to files on the computer without confirmation from the user. So every time it wants to save a hand it would have to pop up a "Save as" dialogue.

I think one "save as" dialogue for a batch of hands (.LIN files support multiple hands, right?) is okay. At worst, couldn't BBO email us the files?

yes yes, save lin file automatically is of important.
