curious for feedback
i chose to lead diamond ten for a reason that i haven't seen mentioned yet, (if already mentioned, well, i missed it.)
my decision was based on lho's 1NT bid to some degree.
looking at my hand, how many times do I rate to get in the lead through dummy's hypothetical diamond honors to help prevent, i hope, any chance of my P getting endplayed? We don't rate to take more than one trick on defense in hearts in most situations, and I have nothing to contribute in clubs. If either one of us is getting in more than once or twice, it seems more likely that it will be my P. So my lead of the D-T is sort of like taking advantage (I hope) of my entries while I can, while I have them including being on opening lead.
Does this reasoning make any sense? I am very worn out/ tired/ and not sure that the brain is working so well, lately.

I think the ♦10 is perfectly reasonable but so is a heart.

A little late, but I'd also lead a ♥ in the beginning to force declarer to ruff.
It looks like partner had 5-4 in the minors, without many lost values. So why didn't he bid? I also keep wondering why declarer didn't discard his ♥7, and why partner isn't discarding ♣s if he actually has a 4 card.
It's MP and I won't defeat this contract anyway. There are many possibilities for EW to make extra tricks out of ♦s if I play them. ♣ seems useless, and trump even more. I'll play my ♥T...
