Several bugs have been fixed in 4.9.2 - thanks to all the people out there who keep finding and reporting them!

Due in part to the enthusiastic response to the new star and lock symbols in 4.9.1, I have extended this theme to all of the other symbols (like folders, and the King symbol we use to mean "host").

The old symbols we used for friends and enemies (fancy hearts and clubs respectively) did not work very well with my new method of drawing symbols.

So I made new symbols for friends (a happy face) and enemies (a sad face).

You can make these symbols appear in chat with a colon, :, followed by the appropriate round bracket (open=happy, close=sad).

Sorry if I did not describe that very well - I can't simply type in the key combination or Forums will turn what I type into an emoticon symbol of its own.

The emoticons in BBO look nicer if "small chat font" is set to off. You can use Control-F to change the value of this setting or find it on the Chat tab of the new Options dialog box.

I suggest you use the first method, but however you do this, please make sure you exit the BBO program COMPLETELY before you start the download process.

Note: we know of a bug where stars are unexpectedly found in profiles as you mouse over usernames; this has been reported to FG

Sorry about that.

The bug I created resulted in anyone who has earned a 2, 3, 4...K, A symbol by winning BBO masterpoints had a star displayed in their profile instead of the appropriate symbol.

I have fixed the problem and made a new version available, but I have not changed the version number. If you care about seeing the appropriate symbols, you can use the links in the first post in this thread to upgrade to another 4.9.2 in which this problem is fixed (and nothing else has changed).
