Nothing could be easier.

Expert.

If you have more ambition and want to be a world class player you can achieve that too, using a very similar process.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

I was a BBO expert ... and decided intermediate was better. ... and I even qualified by BBO standards; some top regional wins. but I make too many dumb mistakes to be an expert.

I have never won a top regional.

I think if you win "some top regionals "you are better than int on bbo.

I think if you win a few top regionals you are doing great.

Again we are not talking about winning a few D, C, B, or A events or even winning a few lower regionals. We are talking about winning a few regionals...the top ones!!

B)

Start playing as a junior? Read a lot?

Enough knowledge to apply intelligent criticism to your own game, and play often enough to apply the lessons you're learning.

Maybe I'll have a better answer in 10 years. B)
Still decidedly intermediate - don't take my guesses as authoritative.
