You will have several decisions here. IMP -- KO format. Finals of higher bracket regional, but small regional. You are the better team, in theory. Up at the half by a decent margin that should have been a better margin. I don't recall the colors.

RHO deals and opens 1♣.

Q1: What call?

Let's say you opt 2♣ Michaels. LHO bids 2♦ and partner jumps to 3♠. You do not have any agreements as to whether, for example, 3♣ and 3♦ would be flags (sort of unusual versus unusual) or any other discussed gadgets. So, 3♠ means whatever you think it means.

Opener bids 4♦.

Q2: What call, if any?

Suppose you bid 4♠. LHO bids 5♦, passed to you.

Q3: What call, if any?

Q4: If you bid 5♠ now, what will you do if the opponents keep bidding diamonds, never to shut up?

agree with the auction of whoever it was thereafter. at 6♦ I will hate everything and given that I have 1 trick I will double to show it, partner should bid 6♠ with no defensive trick.
