Was going to say 1N was the worst bid ever, but passing 2D is even worse!

Was N drunk or something? IMO, the hand warrants at least a courtesy raise even when playing a strong system with light openings.

Going with what has to be a majority here.. South is blameless, north earned the blame on this one.

1NT is the next worst bid ever? :D for me the suit is unbiddable I would have bid 1NT over 1 and 3 over an expected 2 continuation.

North lost his chance for a bluhmer! In fact I don't think it's unrealstic for a very good pair to even find the slam.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

It only happened because of an earlier misbid so it shouldn't count :D

1D 1H
1S 3D
5D

seems like a likely auction to me.

I don't know if 1NT is in the top ten worst bids of all time, but it does reek of matchpointitis.

The pass of 2, however, was truly bizarre.

I assume the "misbid" was 1H, but It serves as a nice stall here, and that is why I like it. Strange how Knee-jerk systemic responses often make an auction easy.

Same auction as Justin.

Oops, just found out what a Bluhmer is, so the "misbid" must refer to 1NT.

As others have said, 100% to North and passing 2 is simply terrible.
