I still don't know squat about this game. my guesses are strictly built on perceived historical skill level.

It seems, this is enough to do well in this competition B)

Where's Fluffy? Someone's to blame for today's debacle and he's the nearest one...

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the 3.

Can I confess to a purely random guess?

I expected France, Argentina, England, Portugal and Spain to not win their first match. And I expected Brazil, Germany, Netherlands and Italy to win. As "not win" is not an option in Aberlour's poll, I randomly allotted losses and draws for those 5 matches (and obviously wins for the other 4)
* Of the first 5, Frannce, England, Portugal and Spain went as expected (no win) but Argentina beat Nigeria quite comfortably.
* Of the last 4, only Italy disappointed by not winning.

For the second phase, I expect all "big teams" except France to return to winning ways; I have marked Brazil to draw because I believe Cote d'Ivoire is a tough opponent. Perhaps I should change Brazil to a win as well.
