sorry I'm not going to give you the vulnerability, I am curious how that changes your choice. the x's in the hand were quite low (at most 7)

Pass. A 15 count with no real suit and a double heart stop is not an excuse for overcalling 1N.

That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Just pass. 2 on that is LOL and 1NT with a stiff spot is asking for a minus score.

This might not be as horrible as it looks if LHO, for instance, has a five-count with spades, and chooses no neg double ---and pard can raise.

It also is not likely pard will be on lead, but if RHO does happen to cue, a "don't lead" double is available.

Still think pass is better because I would have sphincter issues if Opener reopens with a double.
