Maybe you should be glad partner has only shown 14 cards lol. I posted a thread ages ago here where partner promised 7+C and 7+H (and technically 8-7 since you open the higher of 2 7-card suits :P)

You can't count on North to have 14 cards or more. GIB never has its bids.

A long time ago in a GNT match, my partner bid all three other suits before supporting mine. As he tabled the dummy, he said "I bet you can't guess my shape!" He was 4333. I thought he was 5443.

He and GIB would get along real well.
