J or are my choices, i'd probably go with despite the fact that pd passed 3, but we are not leading to cash 2 quick tricks, i try to lead as safe as possible vs 1-4-6 NT and let declarer use his own skills to make it without my help. (although it seems like i find the only lead that gives life to their contract most of the time :D )

I wld never lead from this holding vs 6 nt unless u guys convince me otherwise.

Why is JTx of clubs safer than JT7x of a suit LHO probably does not have 4 of?

Here is what i thought Justin

Yes LHO is unlikely to hold 4 of them, but he can still have A9x , Q9x, K9x or can have them without the 9 declarer holding HH98

Looking at my hand, JT7x is my best guard to prevent declarer to score 4 tricks in this suit especially when he is known to have 4-4 or at least a 4 card major. Of course there are other cases where J can cost too, as well as a lead which may save declarer from a guess if he needs it.
