1S - (p) - 1NT* - (2D)
p - (3D) - Dbl - (4D)
??

1NT was semi-forcing, up to about 11 HCP.

Do you agree with your pass on the previous round? What's your call now?
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

What would partner's 3H or 3S have meant instead of double?
I have 2+DT, he has 1+.
Double. This may be a penalty bonanza- 500+.
Can't believe they make. But I must double even to put
'we can find a double' into their minds.

2? Are we trying to get partner to put us in 4 when he has a doubleton king? No, thank you. I agree with pass and pass again now. (Double is in the picture if H=K. If H=Q, I definitely disagree with double.)

Doesn't H= Heer?
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

Not only is every possible bid flawed, our hand is good for defending. I pass.

If I were to act over 2D, I might choose double over 2S.

For those of us for whom this doesn't make everything clear, I went to check and this means it's the King (though upon looking it up, Heer itself apparently is Man/Mister like the German Herr).

I didnt exactly get what that H is, but assuming it is one of 3 top honors left. If so i agree with previous pass and i pass now too.
