Do you bid 2♥ Michaels or 1♠ or do you bid after 4♥ or does the poor spade suit and adverse color scare you out of a bid?
Colors are for children?

At IMP I think I would pass.
At matchpoint 2♥.

If you feel like you want to bid over 4H, you probably realize that you made a mistake on the previous round.

I think I can probably manage a one level overcall.
I have no particular problem with micheals, it just depends on ones style.

Yes, if you want to get involved it seems right to get in there and out again quickly. It's not very often that you will want to bid over 4♥ but not over 1♥.

I would probably Mike it over 1H, whether the opps were playing ACOL or anything else. Not a fan of passing and trying to do it all from my side of the table at a higher level; 1♠, if for some reason Michaels was not available.

I would Michaels this hand and I consider it a clear error not to.
