Playing 2/1:

1. E dealer, E-W vul:

You are N and hold

AQJTx
Jx
QJ
AKTx.

It goes: 1C by E, P, 1H, to you. What is your call? If you double, LHO will bid 2H and partner will bid 3D, RHO passes and back to you -- what now?

1. W dealer, N-S vul

You are N and hold

Axx
K98xxx
x
AKQ.

It goes: P by W, 1H by you, P, 1NTF, P by W. What is your call? If you bid 2C, partner will raise to 3C (2S would show an 11+ C raise) -- what is your call?

hand 1: I bid 1S the first time. Having doubled, I pass 3D. We might miss 4S, but its playing for a perfecto then (xxx xx AKxxx xx)

hand 2: I bid 2C and then 3H over 3C.

1) 3s over 3d granted I am trying to think what hand pard cannot overcall 1c at fav vul on but make a bid of 3d here.
2) 3h over 3c

Similarly, mike777.

Is 3H inv? highly inv? to play? forcing? How many HCP/how do you value it? what suit quality? shat distinguishes it from a 3H rebid over 1NTF?

I think there is a 2/1 consensus, and I'm just tryng to find out.

I think double on first is poor, opponents are on a force why would I lie on my shape doubling?

1 on the first hand. Given I doubled I bid 3.

2 then 3 on the second.
