I don't think X is pen so my only option is pass. Maybe I'm wrong it's an unusual auction and I'm not sure. I feel like I could double for takeout still. If partner reopens X I will pass.

Seems like an obvious pass. Let them go down in peace. Dbl is tempting (if pen) but if it makes (possible) you're scoring nothing.
