I think I'm going to start with double, then rebid spades unless partner shows hearts.

I'm not certain this plan is best.

Edit: I'm certain this plan was not best! I prefer 3♠, then 5♥ as suggested below.

I would not double, parter rates to leave it in or make another "silly" bid. He will not bid a major in about 95 % of all hands.

I would start with a forcing 3 ♠

I like 3S followed by 5H. Double is a) just asking opps to bid 4C/5C and b) inviting partner to bid 3NT, then he'll pass 4S when we might belong in hearts.
