Free Robot Dupe (IMPs). North and South deserve each other, but this is the GIB forum...

min hand opp one showing 11-12 hcp
looks like its either a pass or 3NT
with 3NT being the most normal call, but I am sure GIB
doesnt go for reverse fixes which pass could be winner at matchpoints.

yes north and south deserve each other.

maybe the saying should be...WWLD.....(What Would Leo DO) probably 3NT right away

Let me guess, if you bid 1H GIB raises to 2 instead of the sensible 1NT :(

2NT is an underbid, but 3H is just plain silly.

Maybe South thinks the robots play SAYC in which, AFAIR, 1m-2NT is 13-15 and forcing.

could be true, but there is a price to pay playing with GIB when you dont check what your
bids mean before you make them  I am still learning, GIB bidding has it nuances
now an interesting thing that could be added to GIB robot tournaments is not being able to see what
GIBs bids mean or your own before you make them....I am sure the number of disasters would increase.

More likely, South was handhogging, hoping to increase his chance of declaring.

It's a bug. Fixed in next update.

GIB will not consider fake majors or majors with hand which is only strong about to accept the invite for 3N.

GIB will bid 100% 1NT over 1 here, avoiding any other call.
