Suppose a pair A-B (playing in some crazy country where everything goes) psyched occasionally 3rd seat NV and they tried to disclose this. e.g.

1H: '9-20 hcp with 5+ hearts OR 0-10 hcp with 2-3 hearts, balanced'

After a while, player A decides he had had enough of this. He tells player B 'I will stop these psyches.' So player B acquiesces and from now on they drop the second part from their alerts.

However, a while later one of them picks up Axx xx xxxx xxxx ... Can he open 1H now? If so, do they need to alert the old way from now on? Can they again vow not to psyche again? Is this scenario stupid?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Yes. Probably. Yes. No.

In the case of #2, I think that if they vow to do no more psyches they do not need to disclose the old tendency to psyche. In the same way that you do not need to disclose anything that happens once, this happening seems an isolated case thus not part of an agreement.

But there's obviously some limit. You can't psyche every week and agree "that's the last time" after each of them -- you're obviously just lying to each other when you make that agreement.
