Bid 2. Bid game if partner shows 3 card limit raise or bids 2NT. Pass 2,
2 or 3 rebids. Over the unusual 2S, bid NT game. With 3.5 QT this is quite
an excellent minimum 4=5=2=2.

2 is kosher. Of course pass could work. What you certainly must not do is bidding 2. Maybe if the heart suit had had four honors....

Bid 2C. You cannot pass.

What The Hog said. I can have a fair 13 count for a forcing 1NT

Hi,

Not answering the question, just adding some question
to answer, which may in the end result in a answer to the
original question.

#1 what hands can be part of the forcing 1NT,
espesially the way, the robots play the forcing NT.

#2 what is the scoring, IMP / MP?

#2.1 would you accept a 2NT rebid and raise to 3NT?
#2.2 would you accept a 3H rebid an raise 3H to 4H?

For game to be good, you need a max. with partner, you
are likely to make 1NT, but may have trouble making 2H
in the 5-2 fit.

#3 Are you afraid, that the reopen the bidding, if you
continue bidding?

With kind regards
Marlowe

PS: I dont have lots of experience playing against GIB,
JLOGIC has, his answer to #1 may have been solely based on
his experience, what 1NT really means.
Of course he also likey to play semiforcing NT, if I remember
his posts, which may also part of the reasons he voted the way
he has.

PSS: Depending on the real intention of the question, it may
have been better, to put this question into the robots part of
the forum.
With kind regards
Uwe Gebhardt (P_Marlowe)

Assuming robot system means you are playing with a robot on BBO then it doesn't matter since it will never have a GF hand for 1N. Admittedly it is possible that 2 people chose to play the robot system but I was basing my answer off of the idea that partner was a gib.

Yes, but the Robot will often have a 3 card limit raise of hearts, and hearts may play MUCH better on this hand than notrump.

But I can see why you might want to pass 1NT, even though it is "technically" forcing.

Personally, I would bid 2 on this hand, and that is what I would do with any live partner unless 1NT was not 100% forcing.
