What line do you take?

Opening lead is 9 ducked around to you.

gut feeling:

Lead 9 of spades, hoping that LHO has the ace and ducks. Overtake with the 10 and lead a diamond.

Assuming this holds, spade up and repeat diamond finesse. Aiming at 2 spades, 5 diamonds, 2 hearts.

ducking the first heart by rho seems to make little overall
sense unless rho has a side entry and are hoping their p will
get in and return another heart before their side entry is
forced out. What might that side entry be?? only the club
or spade ace seem remotely interesting as entries and given the
bidding the club ace seems like a really low chance. There is also
a good defensive case to be made for rho to hop the heart ace at trick
1 and lead a club so that means there is also a really good chance
rho is void in clubs.

My hunch is rho has the spade A and probably a club void and so it would
seem our best hope is to to assume the opps hands look like
xxx 9x K AQTxxxx Axx Axxxxxx xxx void

trick 2 dia ace and if the K does not fall immediately start attacking
spades just in case lho has the dia K and rho the spade A (and the now
fervently hoped for club void).

Not many answers, at the table whereagles line is what works (likely, I don't think LHO pops A on the 9).

LHO has Axxx xx x AQxxx

RHO has xx A8xxxx Kxx Tx

I played diamonds from the top at the table which is clearly bad (wins only if diamond K stiff or club Q onside, given how I was going to play the clubs) and I ended up losing the 3 A, the K and the Q. Of course the opponents could have won the opening lead, played a club back through clearing clubs and set up the the clubs with the spade A still in play while I have only 2 , 1 and as many diamonds as I can get.
