I hope this is an OK place to post this topic. I've been playing bridge for about six months and have been trying to play (both here on BBO and in person) and learn as much as I can. I listen to several fantastic podcasts about another of my favorite games, Magic: the Gathering, and am wondering if there are any podcasts about bridge out there that would be suitable for a beginning/intermediate player. I didn't find anything on a cursory search of iTunes, but I figured people on this forum would know of any such content.

Thanks!

Good luck with that, considering the average age of bridge players in the USA is several standard deviations above that of Podcast listeners.

I regularly listen to Poker Podcasts (Thinking Poker and The 2+2 PokerCast) to get my fix of card action. I've only played a little bit of poker and now find it pretty boring compared to bridge. However, I love hearing people talk about it and how they think.

*takes a deep breath*

I've been making bridge videos for a little while now.

I think of myself as a fairly mediocre player. Anything I say should be taken with a grain of salt. Sometimes I watch my videos and I notice that I just count a suit completely wrong. It's horrible.

IF there are some people who would be willing to be making podcasts about bridge it would actually be pretty cool, although it definetly has to come from the junior end, because I do not think older people would be into such stuff, although you never know. On a unrelated sidenote, maybe bridgepodcasts might popularise the game inbetween younger players, taking into account most other popular card games do have it(Poker;MTG;Hearthstone)

There was at least one attempt, but they stopped in October 2014:

The podcast has been fun, but the time commitment required to make a good episode, and squeezing that time into our already busy schedules, has proved too much for us at the moment.

When we return, you'll hear all about it. Thanks, you brave few, for your support!

I know rogerclee has a Twitch account, but I don't know how often (if ever) it sees use. That kind of live straming would probably be more interest to me than a podcast, and I expect less effort for the player, as long as they can remember to talk us through their thought processes during the play.

I don't think he used it lately.

This is clee's twitch channel:

And I recorded two of his sessions on BBO's youtube channel:

Is vugraph audio commentary archived and available on the Internet?

Gavin Wolpert's Bridge to Victory Series is quite good.

Edit: I did not know about Chris Chung's videos. Will check them out.

The polish were making youtube videos as broadcasts, they had the table camera with the cards being displayed over the image (with transparency), it looked nice.

I was just looking around youtube and found this

It looks like they have way more production value compared to my zero effort on that end, but I'm younger.

Thanks for all of the suggestions everyone. I've been enjoying the Road to Victory series quite a bit.
