So GIB concocted this monstrosity, obviously 2c needs to be 5+ usu 6+ rebiddable and limited to maybe 12/13 hcp?

My ancient PC GIB bids 2s both on this auction and after 1c-p-1nt-p, better than 2c obviously, but I think really shouldn't with strong doubletons, just bid 3nt immediately.

GIBizarre! Seems like as bug fixes are being put in GIB is becoming worse.

Though on second thought, no negative double means you have max 3 hearts and thus there is a hole. Maybe GIBBO is right in bidding 2C.

That's crazy.
- GIB has a sure heart stopper
- I can easily have QH/KH for 2nd stopper
- hearts might split 4-4
- they might not find the heart lead
- Might have 9 tricks on top without 2nd heart stopper

That's a new one. Maybe because it's programmed to rebid the suit instead of notrump with 5422, but since its suit got stolen it got confused.
