Suppose that you play a natural (or quasi-natural) 1 opening. How do you prefer to play the 2 jump shift response, without computation?

Not sure which category you consider this in:

Old fashioned single suited rock crusher slam interest
or
5+/4+ not necessarily more than a minimum GF

I'd go with "natural and game forcing."

Does depend somewhat on the rest of your system.

I quite like to keep it strong - we seem to have too few strong bids.

I'm basically a fan of Soloway style jumps - always a rock, either really good suit, good suit with support, or balanced.

Not so much because of the rare hands where you get to bid it, but more for how it limits all your other hands... now 1-1 caps out at about 16 or so.

If 1 is limited (E.g. preceision-esque), I like 2-way reverse flannery... 2 is normal (<Inv) rev flan, 2 is GF rev. flan, and 1-1-banana-2 is exactly invitational.

I like playing it as about 4-7 with 6+ hearts, as that means a rebid of 2H by responder can be constructive-to-INV (~8-11) and a rebid of 3H GF, avoiding the ugly requirement to jump to 3H on an INV hand with 6 hearts.

I also play this with my regular partner. But the opening post asked what I prefer to play, so I voted for natural, game forcing. Partner felt more strongly on this one than me!

Another option not mentioned in the opening post is fit-jumps. I have played this in the past and find it quite effective.
