I guess I should answer RKC and trust GIB, but felt auction had gone off rails and guessed to pass:

• 3nt I think should be changed to 13-17 hcp, 4 cd hearts (not 4-5), 4- spade, stop spade + stop diamond
• Don't think it should bother with 4c, but certainly if it does it shouldn't keep going over 4H.

GUBBO assigns some special meaning to 3NT in such cases. Don't know why. And further takes a sunny view of partner's hand. Because of 13-21 I am guessing.
Yes, it should be a simple choice of games without heading skyward.

I actually don't think 4C is so bad, although of course it should pass 4H.

I don't think 4c is bad either, on this hand. Mainly I was objecting to the overly wide range of 3nt and bidding on after 4H. Also I have seen 4c on much worse than this, sorry can't find the other hand.

4C is ok. Continuation beyond 4H not ok.
