Over the years, there have been many releases of BBO. I liked old BBO features like chat-logs and full-disclosure.

Nevertheless, I rate the new HtML version of BBO to be an improvement on previous versions. Also, I feel that trying to maintain obsolete versions just wastes valuable resources.

It might be interesting, however, to find out if there's a user-consensus.

A poll is unlikely to cover the spectrum of opinion, so please comment.

Flash is being phased out by the end of 2020, so that's a non-starter. From memory the interface was better than the current one, but I'm sure it will improve over time.

The original version is probably also a non-starter. They would need to maintain a Mac version and a Windows version in parallell. Then we have the users of mobile browsers, linux etc. Plus the umpteen different windows versions.

It's also a pain to have locally stored data when you have multiple devices.

The windows version was never very good imho and the technology has moved forward since then.

Can't stand the results viewer in the new version. And also can someone tell me how to kib the table where someone else is kibbing?

Interface change is hard. I think both the Flash and current version are fine enough, each with their strengths/weaknesses. I appreciate the browser and mobile-centric design of the newest client since I think more and more people will be on non-desktop screens in the future.

IMO, the value proposition here (what we get for what we pay) is so good as to make any other little quibbles insignificant.
