I totally don't understand your system, a natural invitational 2N would seem obvious so clearly you don't have one available.

Does your system not have one either?

Partner has shown 5-5 majors, if he has that and a minimum, I don't see what he would bid other than pass if 5512 with non stellar suits. I gave the hand the spots because it was rock bottom minimum, and you might pass with K5432 twice.

I suspect that I should have worded my first post slightly better. Opener has shown 10-14 HCP, 4+ and 5+. 2 is a 2/1 Game Forcing response unless the suit is rebid. So, I wrote, "invitational or better and forcing to 3". My mistake.

SIRS,
I am very thankful to all of you for your replies on this rather uncommon hand.Personally if I held the South cards I ,a "precision" oriented one, would bid the same way upto 2H and if partner rebid 2NT i would certainly pause.(1)Partner having denied a two card support for S and ((2)who could have passed 2H with a poor fit hand and 3cards in hearts MAY AND MAY ONLY possibly hold a hand where she does not have a GOOD diamond suit and has a totally non fit hand but with possibly a club 4 card suit ,a non Gf hand and unable to define the final contract in which case a correction (albeit with the given conditions) to a NON FORCING 3D would not be misrepresenting my hand.THANKS to all once again..

Our opening bids while they can be light are less often so a 13 count just bids game and sometimes doesn't make it, we do have one, but this hand is too good.

OK, I would question whether I want to respond 2 in that case as I don't really want to rebid that suit in this sort of auction where partner is quite likely to pass with a minimum and a stiff. It's not actually clear what partner should do with a rock bottom minimum 5503

i've got 2n > 3d > 3c, there's more value in showing diamond length than club holdings, and declaring nt now may help right-side the contract
