Kummer und schand. Kummer und schand.

Well if they assume declarer has an opening NT they know their partner is ruffing the second one with a 7 card suit in dummy and 3 in their hand, a human recognises that you don't have a 1N opener with the subsequent bidding.

Those robots! - they know everything, I just lost 8 IMPs in practice when they let this claim go through to the keeper. I'm declaring shenanigans.
Normal mortals had to settle for -1 and 2.9.

Well they can trivially take it -2 with 2 ruffs, but in practice they shouldn't fly A.

Conceding the claim is bizarre, I can't see any hand consistent with the 3 bid where it's a valid claim from E's point of view.

Only on the teaching table can you claim 13 tricks from any position, but those hands shouldn't get played in the 'main arena' - that's what looks so peculiar.
Looks like a computer glitch in this case.

Well, that is extraordinary!
Perhaps they did insert a ghost into the machine.

Delicately diverging into DOPI for a moment, A divertissement from the practice table.
Is this really how DOPI works? GIB deploys 0314.

Needless to say, I plonked down my unsupported Ace.
Oddly, I could have led away from it and East still goes down! How about that...

Holy double trouble Batman - the Ace of Clubs strikes again. One board later. The robots must be drowsy or demented.

DOPI = x=0, P=1, next step =2 next =3 so X=0, P=1, 5=2, 5=3, unfortunately here it means you miss out on 5X-7 or 8.

You of course gave them a chance to make it with the heart switch, which is only a good idea if you have 9xxxx to give declarer a losing option.

On board 2 you've bid a much bigger hand than you have so I understand your partner raising expecting void, AKxx, x, AKxxxxxx or similar I don't understand what the EW bots are doing but clearly W thinks you've got 9 clubs and their partner is void with a lot of spades and it might be a double slam board or your save is cheap.

I want to report a crime | https://tinyurl.com/y4jmcnv9 | 12.8 IMPs
Someone stole 12 IMPs, which would have been fine, but it wasn't me.

In a substantively supercilious slew of senselessness, Pilowsky rolls out a misclick on the way back from collecting his Lebanese takeaway.
Instead of bidding 2 he misclicks and bids 2.
His smug self-satisfied amanuensis sitting North temples his palps momentarily then bids 3.
Pilowsky bids 6 "1-4; 6+ ; 3 ; 10- HCP; 7+ total points; likely stop in "
Will this get the November award for the silliest slam.
and the 4 is led.

Completely undeserved.
4 people made 4S+2. They got a J lead.
Funnily enough, I also bought a copy of Bird & Anthias' books on leads on the way home, and this are exactly the leads that they advise (4 vs 6).
Which is good to know, since it's also the substrate for GIB's lead choices according to the system notes.

Here is something you don't see every day.
You know that thing you do when you have a lot of one suit and then play them out one-by-one hoping your opponents will forget which card to hang onto till trick 13.
Meanwhile, your opponents are looking at you sadly until one of them says "You know, we can all count."
It seems the West robot has had a bit too much of the sauce.
Matchpoints, you bid 4.
Plan the play after a lead of K

Like most people, I ended up in 3NT-3 for 42.42%
The person who came top found an ingenious squeeze play at trick 8.
Mind-blowing in its subtlety.
Not something you see every day.
Clearly outplaying the hapless West robot.

The defence was less spectacular at my table despite GiB(W)'s decisions at tricks 5 and 6 costing no less than four tricks:

Ineresting decision to double 2, though.

Quite logical. South must have A to get to 15 hcp, hence can't have Q. So West made the necessary unblock in case South's remaining cards are A87 2.
The easiest way to count losers is to line up the people who talk about loser count, and count them. -Kieran Dyke

Based on trick 1, East can't have Q because they would have played it. So either South doesn't have A and opened 1NT on 14 HCP and a 5 card spade suit, or opened 1NT with 18 HCP with a 5 card spade suit.
