Im hosting a casual game with 4 friends. How do I set up the no of boards to be played or is this not an option?

Not an option, just play until they drop :)

Many thanks. I thought that was the case but couldn't find anything regarding the topic on line.

If you create a team match between eight players, then you have to specify the number of boards. Also if you are teaching at a teaching table, or bidding table, then you can load boards for them to play.

Even at a casual table, you can either use the unlimited number of random boards and have comparisons with fifteen other tables for each board; or you can use Vugraph boards (Deal source in the table menu).

The advantage of Vugraph boards is that you will normally get a comparison with two sensible tables, as the players on Vugraph are normally stronger than your average player, so you will not get 2 imps just for bidding and making the world's most obvious game. You can either select random Vugraph boards, which means that you will get sixteen boards but you can finish at any time, or pick a specific Vugraph match and get the number of boards played (typically 8-20). When the Vugraph hands finish, you go back to random boards unless you load another (random or not) Vugraph set.

Or you can use the challenge area - where you can set the number of boards.
Of course, then you are all playing the same set of hands against robots.
