BBO forum,
I have been trying to find information about the Roman Gerber convention but
there's not much on the internet. Does anyone have a good source for it?

I play Roman Keycard Gerber where;
4nt RKC Gerber
5C 1 or 4 aces
5D 3 or 0 aces
5H 2 with a minimum hand
5S 2 with a maximum hand
Is this what you were looking for?

As Kathryn (Jillybean) says it may be Roman Keycard Gerber that you are looking for. Alternatively, it may be something like Roman Blackwood https://www.bridgebu..._blackwood.php. That would mean that the responses to 4♣ would be
4♦=0 or 3
4♥=1 or 4
4♠=one pointed ace (spade or diamond) and one rounded ace (heart or club)
4NT=two pointed aces OR two rounded aces
4♦=0 or 3
4♥=1 or 4
4♠=one pointed ace (spade or diamond) and one rounded ace (heart or club)
4NT=two pointed aces OR two rounded aces
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

I am looking for what kind bidding sequences would lead up to using this bid.
The responses I found on the internet after the 4C bid were:
4D 0-3 Aces
4H 1 or 4 Aces
4S 2 Aces without extra values
4NT 2 Aces with extra values

The responses I found on the internet after the 4C bid were:
4D 0-3 Aces
4H 1 or 4 Aces
4S 2 Aces without extra values
4NT 2 Aces with extra values

I interpret the extra values described above as relating to the lower or upper part of the NT opening bid range.
1NT-4♣ is a possible sequence, but any hand where opener typically ends up in 3NT and responder wants to investigate a NT slam either based on hcp or with a long suit and trick taking ability
There are also Gerberesque versions which show a king count instead of the extra values
