There is a potential slam on with KQ and the shape, but the lack of Aces may be an issue.
3NT suggests a decent suit and 15+hcp so some of the hcp accounted for.
Only way you are going to find out is to bid 4

If 4 is unavailable, then 4 as Kickback

Hi,

the first question is, how strong is 3NT?
The related question is, how strong is 2NT?
Is it 12-14, or could it be split range 12-14 / 18-19?

Another question: Do we talk about MP scoring or IMP scoring?

But anyway, most of the time I will pass 3NT.
I know, I can go down in 3NT, 5C / 6C making, but the other scenario
is also possible.

With kind regards
Marlowe

It depends on your agreement on the strength of the 3NT bid. Some play it as 18-19 HCP, others play it as 15-19 HCP. In the first case I would bid 4 as a slam try with a good club suit. In the latter case I would probably pass.

3NT was 16-18 with a balanced 3=5=3=2
10+16= 26 so game is on fast arival
and also promised stopper in unbid suit
2NT same distribitution with 11-14 HPC
when partner response 2 in a minor on a 5 cards major opening
he may have 3 cards suport inviting or better he is not limited
so the best i can do is to describe my hand as best as i can
with a stronger hand or lacking a side stopper would have to rebid a 3 cards suit
this is as far that i can bid with limitation of the "natural" 5 cards Major

If 3NT is 16-18, it is quite likely, that he will have 2+ Aces, hence you can bid 4C
with a high probabiliy, that you are not going down in 5C, whatever 4C may mean besides
setting clubs as trumps.
