Scoring: IMP

P - (1) - P - (1)
1 - (2) - X - (2)
P - (2) - X - (P)
?

What is partner doing? Can you think of hand consistent with partner's bidding? What do you do now?

X of 2C was clubs. X of 2H should be penalty...but im looking at my hand... anyways I pass I have nowhere to go anyways. Maybe his hand is just really good.

Maybe you should ask what opponents are doing -- my best guess is responder is playing Walsh and has 4 hearts and 5 diamonds. Even leaves partner with a penalty double if opener gave false preference with 1-2 in the red suits

Pard seems to have a take-out double of spades (1444 or so) and about 14-15 points.

Pass and wait for the singleton spade lead. The jacks will be of some help in the defensive play, by the way.

Surely pard holds a 2245 pattern with a good hand. Trump leads and continuations should make this an unpleasant contract to play.

Ding Ding Ding Ding!

Winston wins the prize.

Partner's (my) hand was:

42
A3
A864
AK953

Responder was 3550 with a 5 count and trying to improve the contract.

My partner pulled to 2 to go one off. I wasn't as confident with my second double, but I couldn't believe my partner pulled it with 4 trumps!

I'll take what's behind door #3. :P BTW, I really like your bidding on this hand.
