Wanted to purchase some BB$. The current USD:NZD exchange rate is 1.61, however in the Android app BB$10 costs 32 NZD, almost a 100% markup. I'm guessing Google helps themselves to a piece of the pie but how can such a markup really be justified, particularly when I can buy them through the regular BBO web version at what turned out to be a rate of 1.64?
Talking of the web version, any particular reason the credit card number and CVV fields are iframes embedding some third-party website's form code? My adblocker (Ublock Origin) disabled them as a result - took me a bit to figure out why I could fill in everything except arguably the most important piece of information when it comes to payment
Thanks,
ahydra

According to the Fortnite lawsuit Google just lost, "a piece" is "30%".

I don't know why you'd get 100% markup instead of the (already obnoxious) 30%, but I bet it's not BBO assuming its mobile clients are more gullible than their web clients.
I assume that the iframe is because BBO's credit card processor is the third-party, but yeah, the purchasing web page is uncomfortable in a number of ways (the least of which is "has this been looked at since 2001?") and if uBlock Origin doesn't like it, they should look at it. But I assume you'll get a more correct answer from the BBO people themselves.

Adblockers block data entry on all kinds of account forms on multiple sites - not just BBO.

A complete revamp of the purchase page is currently in beta test.
