I have been suspended.
Likely by sending a chat to the nasty host that removed me: 'pig'
I use 'pig' as it is much easier to type than: I am extremely disappointed that you removed me with no explanation nor excuse!
Pig may be one of the flag words, that got me suspended.
Too many times, I have msg my partner to explain that I was removed by the nasty host!


To me, a host is there to ensure expedient pace. and to remove players that are clearly time wasting!!!!
Some players are way out of the tables experience, and could/should be asked to leave.
Habitual, ridiculous bidding players, also need removing.

I am sure the members may have further insights?

And hopefully the moderators are looking, and release a 'Duty Statement" for hosts.................

The host needs to give no reason to boot you. It's nicer if they do...

But could be (would definitely be with me, but there's a reason I don't play non-set games) that you often use those kinds of shortcuts in your online typing, and the host felt they had had enough of it. In which case, they should have "enemy"ed you *before* booting you - and never saw your abbreviation. They certainly shouldn't have given you a reason if that was the case, giving you an opportunity to respond with more of it.

I know that I have booted very few players, but more than one of them were "just trying to help" and offering unwanted advice as an opponent - after being told it was unwelcome. I'm sure they thought that they were just trying to be nice, too.

But of course, I could be very wrong and you could have been the example of patience and propriety before, and the host booted you because their set fourth finally showed up, and yes, should have told you why. And didn't. I'm sure you have the chat history, and that abuse@ would be welcome of it in that case.

Calling someone a pig does not automatically trigger a suspension. The word "pig" is not on our bad words list, although it is rarely used in a non-offensive context.

Automatic suspensions on BBO are typically 2 minutes long and are only enforced when specific offensive words from our bad words list are used, as well as when spam-like activity is detected. Longer suspensions are not triggered by the use of a single word, but rather by recurring abusive behavior (such as offensive chat) and multiple reports from different players.

One single report from a player does not result in automatic action. Reports are tracked over time, and when a player is reported multiple times by different people, the behavior is flagged for review. Suspensions are generally the result of consistent, repeated behavior over a period of time. A one-off incident is unlikely to trigger a suspension unless it is particularly egregious.
