so here is what a really great bridge robot would do--it would ask me for my convention card with special attention to leads and defensive signals and would adjust its engine accordingly. I prefer the joy of competition playing the game as it was intended to be played, and this sort of self adjusting robot would better enable me to practice my skills when playing with another human. And of course, it would be better than guessing what the robots plays signal. Playing defense with a robot is like bowling alone and defense is one of the most important parts of the game.
