I remember looking at this a few years ago. At least in the old robot, East's pass of 3NTx in this auction (and many others) is not a legal bid; it will only pass if there are absolutely zero bidding rules that match. Here, 4♣, 5♣, 6♣, and 7♣ are all valid options, and you're lucky it didn't choose 7♣.
