Hi

I am assuming that the 55% over best 10 scores is an average.
Will there be a way to double check our average in case of rounding errors :)
Not sure if it will always be the best players. Some prepared to gamble a few more dollars than others
I have not quite given up yet. Especially if it is an average :)

It's not as $$-demanding as other formats, since once you get your 55% you can stop bec you're already qualified (unlike other tourneys where you have to keep going to maintain your position in the rankings).

And with the format of the qualifiers at 8 board games, its not a very challenging score to reach. The tourneys can be pretty swingy bec short.

We'll post the event rankings. We had some delays with producing them but hopefully by the end of this week participants will be able to see their score over 10 best results.

Thx :)

But is it an average? Not a frequency?
I have almost achieved an average but would not want to miss out if it is a frequency
My reading of the text is "over 55% in your top 10 scores"
Reading your reply implies an average I think (once we achieve our 55% suggests an average )

Maybe a message pops up saying "you have qualified"

Apparently by my transcribed approximate percentages and a few questionable Excel calculations I have just reached 55.123% with my best 10 scores :) Note that the scores I put in had been rounded to 2 places
I honestly am not totally confident of my formulas despite rigorous testing

Maybe to better players this is not an issue but I still am working on high variance
Took me 9 days to get a half respectable average of my best scores

But if it is based on 10 scores above 55% that could be a long time

I am still debating whether to invest in a possibly unlimited number of hands to make sure - trying calculate my odds anyway :)

Something even sadder is that even if I qualify I am not sure I have a region big enough to exist as any kind of entity

You have your 10 tournaments, and your 55% + avg score (55.1230 to be more exact) so you are qualified. Congrats :)

Yes, we'll mark the qualified players in some visible way on the event rankings.

As for your region, by the time phase 1 ends, at the end of March, there could be sufficient players to form a team. You could even go recruit some to build your team if you want ;)

We're working on something that will send emails to all players with their progress.
