Well, if you’re playing strong nt, you have a balanced 15 count

South at the OT also opened 1nt, west showed spades and a lower , NS did not have a good auction, ending in 6Dx

6NT is a great contract, but at IMPs what's wrong with 6?

I would not open this 1NT.

That's the point, by successfully concealing your six card suit, partner did not find out about your six card suit. Mission accomplished.

You may be able to get to 6 after opening 1, I doubt we club players would
