I rarely play ACBL tourneys but gave it a shot last night.
1) Very slow play on hand one and slow play on hand two results in average minus 40% score on last board when not finished. I called Director often during both boards, no response.
2) New table, repeated claims of all tricks with trumps out are refused, and LHO will not play a card. LHO will not respond but they are at the table, not a bad connection. Director finally comes and says Play and they finally play, next card same thing happens again. I note that this happens often and only when the opp are getting a very poor result but there is never any explanation, warning or penalty given by director.
3) On rare occasions I feel the need to give a long 2 or 3 sentence Alert explanation. There is not enough room in the alert box, what should I do?

1, 2 - I'm glad I've never had those. No idea.

3 - There's a nice <-> button; I'll put a "quickie" in the Alert box and do the full one as "message to opps" after the bid comes down. Sometimes I remember to warn in the quickie, for instance "4S, longer minor (more...)"
with more being "wrong shape to double, around 11-15 points".
