4.8.9 is mostly about bug fixes and minor functional changes which I have mentioned in other posts.

One new thing that is worth a try (but you must have 4.8.9 in order for it to work):

Log in, click "Useful links and information", then click "Color schemes".

The ability to change just about any color you see in BBO has been around for a while, but I don't think it is used very much (mostly because the old interfaces for changing colors was hard to find and hard to deal with). Hopefully this new facility will get more people to know about the color possibilities and try out various schemes.

If anyone has created a color scheme that they like and want us to distribute, please send me a copy of your .ini file by e-mail (or let me know if you need instructions for how to do this) - fred@bridgebase.com

Of course I can't promise that we will be willing to distribute all of the files that we receive.

Sorry that the one color scheme we have available now is so weird. It is not meant to be beautiful - we needed something for testing purposes.
