Playing standard (4th/2nd) leads, what's your choice?

Low Spade... Guess I'm feeling dull this evening

More serious, a red suit lead seems suicidal
I prefer not to under lead an Ace into a strong NT opener

I gave some consideration to the 9 of clubs

I thought that this was a 'clear' Club lead (7). (I'd prefer however to have the T iso the 9).
Is underleading an ace that bad after a 1NT opening?

Spade. But if my spots were much worse in spades would lead a club, J532 seems counterproductive to me.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

S lead is better then the C lead because the C ace serve as an entry to cash a possible establish S but not vice-versa.
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."
