was the auction at the table. Who would you blame more?

  • Interests:My personal interests are my family and my friends. I am extremely concerned about the lives and futures of the kids (and their families) that I work with. I care about the friends I have made on BBO. Also, I am extremely concerned about the environment/ ecology/ wildlife/ the little planet that we call Earth. How much more of the world's habitat and food supply for animals do we plan on destroying. How many more wetlands are we going to drain, fill, and build on? How many more sand dunes are we going to knock down in the interests of high-rise hotels or luxury homes?

PASS

Partner has a moose, well, maybe a small moose. Partner had 2 bids available to show major 2-suiters (3C & 3D) and didn't bid either. But partner is Big in hcps, and I have no offense. But I have a diamond trick, and partner should be strong enough to handle the situations when I have no cards or major suit support. Pass and lead a trump. I suspect something like 4414 and mucho hcps. Oh, well, wrong again. How much for overtricks these days?

Clearly South is playing with himself in every sense of the word.

Oh that South didn't have a chance to act over 2NT first changes things, now I am with the 3 people.

I think 4 is a mildly bad bid.

Yep, I have no idea what would happen, lol, that's why I didn't include any analysis or conclusions.

I think N and W have bid their hands impeccibly - I am right that E passed 3H - and didn't X - LOL - but then S bid 4H which is awful overbid.
