I think many people agreed that transfer and then bid pard's suit is like a fit jump to the two level, 3 card support and a goodish side suit.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Anyway this is all hypothetical.

Against your hypothetical, I lead a hypothetical heart, of course. LOL
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

Another sidebar:

Eventho you have a 5-5, there isn't a Michaels or Un2NT to show the Sp suit and another here.

Enter Bailey Cuebids.
( 1x ) - 2NT! = 2 lowest always
( 1m ) - 2m! = Sp and ONE of the suits shown by 2NT!
( 1S ) - 2S! = Hts and one of the suits shown by 2NT!

So, for the hand here:
A Q x x x
Q
A x x x x
x x

( 1C ) - 2C! = Sp and one of the Red suits

follow-up by partner:
If he didn't like Sp but could tolerate either Red suit,
he would bid 2D for "pass or correct".

I think its a good time to learn transfer advance.

If not i would assume 2H shows 5H and 2S or 5H and 5m.

Half way through the auction is usually the best time to start playing a new convention :P
