Suppose you don't have 2 suiters opening in your arsenal and you decided not to open weak 2 with such weak ♥ suit so you pass
Bidding went:
Pass - Pass - 1♠ - 3♦
?
What is your action now?
Is double preferrable? or 3♥ (will it be treated as fit non jump)? or pass?

Predictable, and good title for this string. If you are playing fit non-jumps that should go into your initial decision and maybe even your style. So Maybe this 6-loser hand has to open 1H -- given your agreements. Comfortable 3 hearts after passing if it doesn't show spades.

EDIT: oops thought your partner bid 3♦ as a passed hand 3 ♥ would be acceptable a Neg X will allow partner to get to 3NT as he will know you rate to have ♥ and ♣ stoppers
