System fail or just judgement?

My understanding of the system is that GIB should bid 2NT. Is it bidding 2S because of some sort of simulation?

No. It's due bug. Fixed in next update. North will bid 2NT.

I don't like the 1NT bid; I think South should bid 2♣ over North's 1♠.

The explanation of 1NT includes the possibility that South is 5-5 in hearts and a minor; I think that would be horrible. But, it also says that South has at least 2 of each suit, which precludes him from being 5-5. But then again, he doesn't actually have 2+ diamonds, does he?

Others 1NT rebids seem fixed. Maybe 1♥-1♠-1N slipped. Fixed in next update to show - -- 2-3 ♣; 2-3 ♦; 5 ♥; 2-3 ♠; 12-14 HCP
