Congratulations to Frances Hinden and her team who won the A division of the English Premier League, an achievement all the more praiseworthy because they were the only team in the division with only four players, so played all 420 boards.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice

Very good result, and congrats. On total IMPs a much bigger win, 53 IMPs ahead of Allfrey. The opposite effect to the US election where Obama was only 0.7% ahead in Florida, but that was 29-0 on the Victory Point scale.

Many congratulations to Frances, Catch22 and Jallerton! (does Chris Jagger have a BBO callsign too?) Also to the runners up for yet another strong performance despite at least one of their team being described by a top EBU official as "not of international quality" only a couple of years back.

Frances plays with mayors, not catch22 who plays with gnasher.

And who can be found at the other end of the ranking list.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

The good part about this is that it greatly increases your chance of being listed 1st the following year... ;)
