I think that my goal for 2014 is to not volunteer to teach Summer School, and try to play bridge over summer.

Going forward into the new year I have the following goals: Make it to the final day of every national pairs or swiss event that I enter; make the top 10 of an open national pairs or swiss event; Win the right to represent our district in the open NAPs, and the flight A GNTs (open team having fallen through). Develop the partnerships I have kept, and make sure that my partners know that they are valued.
Update: I failed in the goal to make it to the final day of all of the national pairs/swiss events that I entered in Dallas (twice), but I did get a 10th place finish in the Jacoby swiss with JeffFord76, another BBO poster, as a partner. The rest of the goals are in progress/yet to be decided.

Nice playing in the Jacoby Open Swiss event by you and your team mates.

In 2013, I spent >90% of my "bridge time" directing/administrating and probably about only 5% playing.
