The documented range for my 3NT rebid is 17-20 HCP. If North is going to assume that I will open 1NT with all 17 HCP hands containing 5♠, then it should also assume that I will open 2NT with all 20 HCP hands containing 5 ♠. That would put me in the 18-19 HCP range. So why the unilateral jump to 6NT rather than an invitational 4NT? The robot assumes that South is at the very top of his/her range when South makes a strong bid. If that can't be fixed, then the ranges for rebids like this should be adjusted, based on the established ranges for NT openings.

The description of 6N includes 16-18 hcp, not even close to Gib's 13 hcp hand. If Gib had it's bid you would be claiming.
