Also much prefer older version ( only use the web version for instant comps); there is a problem with windows/old BBO version however .... you get logged off and a message saying something about NetVue error. Any solutions to this outthere ?

As a retired programmer and systems administrator, I use both the "old" and new version of BBO. Since the "old" version is a standalone program, it is dependent upon the software and updates that are specific for each hardware platform. That is difficult and costly to maintain. The new version is web based and only had to adhere to published browser standards. The new web version could have and should have incorporated more of the features of the old version. I would love to have the chat saved in the new version! I doubt that anyone will spend the time and resources to change anything in the old version. Just use it until it dies!! As for changes to the new version, that is an issue for the bean counters to figure if it is economically feasible :)

Are you talking about the old Windows download application, or the version of the mobile app from before last week's update? Some of the responses seem to be about the first, but based on the timing I suspect you mean the latter.

All the major browsers will drop Flash completely by the end of this year. What can we do to keep you?
