Why would this need to come up more than once to be fixed?
Oh right what was it 1,000 times Gib doesn't cash A on lead against 7NX to be fixed?

I'm too lazy to look through a search of topics, but passing a forcing new suit bid has come up quite a few times.

I think so, yes. I've seen gib give fit on 3 with unbalanced distribution many times. But it's probably better to wait till jdonn answers, he would know better what's intentional and what not.
